Manhattan, NY.- On saturday, September 18, Maybelline, Ford, Garnier and Verizon were some of the companies that participated in People en Español's "Festival 2010", a celebration of Hispanic entertainment, culture and community that took place at New York's Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square, where hundreds attended the event attracted by the many hispanic hot celebrities that were part of the program : Sergio Vargas, Jencarlos Canela and Kat De Luna, telenovela star Jacqueline Bracamontes and journalist/TV host Maria Antonieta Collins. Also, experts in the fields of lifestyle, health, career and Money were part of the guest speakers: Maria Marin, Dr. Aliza Lifshitz, Mariela Dabbah and Maria Ines Ferre. Festival 2010 helped kick off Hispanic Heritage Month.

They gave away magnet pictures to guests of "Festival 2010" and talked them about the company's new mobile phones (like the Samsung Fascinate) and about 2 new applications: Skype Mobile and NFL Mobile.

Ford brought its "Tu Voz en Tu Vida" (Your voice in your life) campaign to life for "Festival 2010" consumers. Last year Ford Motor Company launched http://www.tuvozentuvida.com , a new online women's destination, which is a unique Spanish language resource that acts as a tool of empowerment for Hispanic women encouraging them to make real change for themselves .
